The NBC series is where most of the top teams from around the country come together at the end of the season to determine a champion.
Some of the teams don't go and some of the leagues have recently talked about no longer going because of the expenses.

Speaking of the financial challenges associated with an NBC World Series bid: www.kansas.com/mld/kansas/sports/special_packages/nbc/12266730.htmBut this is a great baseball experience, I go for at least one full day every year, more if a team I root for is there. Everyone who enjoys semi-pro/summer collegiate/college wood bat baseball should attend at least once. Can't wait to eat my traditional breakfast burrito from the Lawrence-Dumont concession stand while watching an 8 a.m. game.
