Cheyenne club joins inaugural MCBL roster
The Mountain Collegiate Baseball League announced the league has placed a franchise in Cheyenne for the 2005 season.
The franchise, named the Cheyenne Grizzlies, joins the Fort Collins Foxes and the Greeley Grays in the league.
The Mountain Collegiate Baseball League is a summer collegiate baseball league that will begin play in June. The MCBL will be comprised of four teams in the Rocky Mountain area, with each team featuring standout college baseball players from around the country. Teams will be operated like minor league baseball franchises.
